Kindergarten Wrap Around Fee-Based Program

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The Madison school district was unable to provide a full-day kindergarten program, so last year it established the Kindergarten Wrap Around Program to complement its district half-day program. The program, which is fee-based, has its own curriculum and is taught by certified staff. The first year has been a resounding success, with all students at or above grade level and the district predicted to earn $100,000 in revenue for the 2013-2014 academic year. In addition, parent surveys indicate a high level of satisfaction. This session will cover the curricular foundations of the program, funding sources, academic results and logistical concerns.
